Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Pencilled you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password safe. You must be at least 16 years old to use Pencilled.

3. Your content

You own the bookings, clients, attachments and other content you put into Pencilled. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content only so we can run the service for you, for example syncing across your devices.

4. Acceptable use

- Don't upload anything illegal or that infringes others' rights.

- Don't try to break, reverse-engineer or abuse the service.

- Don't use Pencilled to send spam or unsolicited messages.

5. Pencilled Pro and payments

Some features require a Pencilled Pro subscription, sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your store account. Refunds are handled under the rules of the store you bought through.

6. Calendar sync

Pencilled only reads and writes calendar entries you authorise. You can revoke access at any time in Settings or in your device permissions.

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep Pencilled running but we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The app is provided "as is". We don't accept liability for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the issue.

8. Termination

You can stop using Pencilled at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if we're required to by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. If a change is material we'll let you know in-app. Continuing to use Pencilled after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
